CiviCRM and Drupal 5

I have been hearing nothing, but "I'm not sure it works with 5" and "You have to do this, this, and this extra work to install it"

I'm running a site that is rather large, and close to being launched. It is of course Drupal 5, but I need to utilize the similar functionality of CiviCRM. I basically need to run a CRM tool on the backend of it.

Does anyone have any ideas for me? Does CiviCRM work with Drupal 5? Do I have to worry about it breaking my site?

Let me know.

BTW...You guys are great.

It works

According to civicrmit works on Drupal 5.x. I've setup and installed it on drupal 5 without a problem.

Hope this helps.

Thank you

I know it says it does, but the download area doesn't show a download for 5.x only for 4 and it was making me real nervous. I think I may set it up on a subsite or something as a sub-domained CRM tool.

Thank you Matt.

Here it is

It's the first file listed here...http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=177914&package_id=205038

The .tar.gz file with drupal in the name.

Thank you

Thank you again Matt. You guys are great. I will have to look into this more. ATM I am working on a client that has a rather short deadline. I will have to revisit the CRM in a couple of weeks.
