Geeks and God Podcast

I'd just like to share with you something very exciting that is happening in my life, and ask for you to pray about it and offer any other encouragement if you would like:

I have been accepted on a course run by Youth with a mission (YWAM) which will involve three months of Bible study and related training, followed by a three month mission trip to somewhere in the world (but I won't know where till I start the first three months). I've decided to do this course so that I can apply to YWAM for one of their IT related volunteering positions, so that I can put the type of things talked about in Geeks and God in to practice every day, so it would be great if you would keep up to date via my blog.

Talking of the blog, it runs off a new-ish blogging platform: posterous, which I found out about at just the right time: it's main selling point is that I can blog from my email account, which will be useful when I'm on restricted bandwidth limits overseas (and even at the training, where the wifi is a penny a minute).

I'd like to still be able to listen to Geeks and God from time to time, but I might have to store the next six months worth up and listen to them in G&G-a-thon sessions instead of once a week!
