I don't know if you've (the geeks) have noticed, but the "your comments" sidebar container doesn't get first posts in the forum, just comments added after the initial post.

Sorry if you've discussed this before. I'm pretty new around here.

I see they do show up in "the latest forum topic", so it probably doesn't matter.

nevermind

We Knew That

Yeah, we knew that. The 'your comments' block just shows responses to forum topics and comments on episodes.

It was intentionally that way. Would you suggest a change? If so, why? I'm open to new ideas.

At first, I didn't see the

At first, I didn't see the "latest forum topic" item in the sidebar and was confused when I made a new topic in the forum and it didn't show up in "your comments" like all the other posts had.

But I've been listening to your Drupal series and I remember that this isn't a real forum. It's simply a Drupal article with comments added.

If I were doing it (and I haven't done web design since frames were cool. ) I would have one container with Latest Forum Topics and Replies and another with the latest comments in other parts of the web site in another container.

Or, I'd just put forum topics and all comments into one container, not separating them.

Or something like that. It just seems a bit odd to me to separate the first post on a topic from other posts on a topic in the forums here.

Just some thoughts (since you asked 8-{)> ).

Another idea for "your comments"

I think the "your comments" section would be more useful if you could somehow identify what topic they are related to.

Just a thought.
