I am in the beginning stages of a new website. I have done other development for this client, but this new project has to be done quicker then I will be able to do it. They have a finacial backer who also would like this new site developed by an accual company instead of someone doing this on the side (Me). Therefore I will be in more of a project manager role in this. If anyone has a link to a company that I might be able to use that would be great.
It is kind of like audible.com but for youth ministry content. I personally would like it to be in asp or asp.net with mySQL because that is what I know but not required.
Any insight or comments on this would be helpful.
Thanks,
Brett Bishop

Not So Easy
In the world of ASP and ASP.net I don't know any design houses. I can't be a whole lot of help there.
I'd suggest contacting Mustardseed Media and seeing if they have time to build it. I'd, also, suggest using a framework of some sort.

I have no idea what asp is... sounds like a bad lisp. But I can echo Matt's advice to contact Bob and Mustardseed Media. Bob stepped in and rescued our ministry after a very unpleasant experience with another web development firm. He has just finished building our site, Muddy River Media and we couldn't be happier.
Not just with the results, but the working relationship with Bob. He was very professional, creative and obviously concerned about the project and our ministry. You would not be disappointed working with Bob.
What is ASP
ASP = Active Server Pages. It does the same kinds of things as php.
ASP.net is the current (object oriented) iteration based on Microsoft's .net Framework. It's a very powerful language (well collection of languages) Visual Studio the RAD environment for it makes TONS of tasks VERY simple indeed and
I use it for www.tonyarcher.com and any site that you see a page ending in .aspx is an asp.net site as well.
IMO it's one of the best web technologies out there.
