I purchased this as a download the other day for $30. If your new to Drupal and have been searching the drupal forums or here on G&G you heard all of us use words like module, node,CCK, blocks and it confuses the heck out of you. Your not alone. I think most of us here can state we have all been there. I still get confused. But soon little pieces of it will start to click with you. This video is great for what the title states. It helps you understand what drupal is and a lot of the basic terminology you will encounter.
If you have $30 lying around, I think this is worth the price.
My Understanding Drupal DVD at long last appeared and I was pleased to have enough time to watch it on the day it arrived. From what I've seen; Lullabot only does great work. This video is no exception.
I was hoping for tips and tricks, (a seminar in a box?) of which this contained none. To their credit, it is described as "An introduction..." and there it does deliver; effortlessly covering concepts and terminology we all struggled with. Unfortunately, it falls into the awkward category of "Anyone who would be interested already understands most of what they cover."
If nothing else, it's billed as "first in a series"...I can't wait for more geeky subsequent releases.
