It is working

I have it working for two podcasts at my church. It has be running for about a year now and I have upgraded it twice. I also have it integrated with Mambo. It was easy to get the first podcast integrated, but the second took a little hacking. It has worked fine with iTunes as well.

drupal has audio module

I have not used this but for audio, creating podcast, RSS for podcasts, and a nifty flash player check out the drupal audio module. If the files are larger than one can upload via the web you can ftp them up and use a second module included in the audio module to add these filesl.
