I'm a little more anal than Rob about the images I use. I grab them from places like flickr and services that provide free royality free images. With flickr I use the advanced search and look at the license to make sure it's cool. It's some extra steps but it keeps things on the straight and narrow.

yeah, Ive done that also. I try to find some good ones using places like istockphoto or dreamstime but If I cant find the ones Im looking for google is where I go.
