having trouble picking up your latest two podcasts from the rss feed.

Lots of % signs in the url for the audio file.

Here's the "new" url:

http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r...

vs. the old url

http://feeds.feedburner.com/ge...

for the last podcast I was able to dl via ipodder and your rss feed.

Just a heads up.

Thanks...

Hey there. Thanks for the heads up. We noticed this as well, and wondered if it would be a problem in downloading the episodes. I think its a feedburner issue...we'll check into it asap.

Thanks again!

Update

The word from Feedburner is, this is an issue only on Juice for Windows. They're working on a fix. Are you using Juice when you ran into this problem?

Thanks for your feedback!

No, not juice, I use

No, not juice, I use ipodder, so, it's not just a juice issue. Unless, juice = ipodder somehow.

Actually...

Actually, according to MF, Juice does equal iPodder. I guess they're based on the same code...

This is a problem feedburner is trying to work out. If they can't fix it in the next couple days, we'll be implementing a solution of our own until then.

For now, if you'd like to grab the feed directly (please don't do this unless you have a problem getting the feedburner feed) you can get it from: http://www.geeksandgod.com/gee...

Thanks again for the heads up

Well, it seems that

Well, it seems that feedburner hasn't done anything to change their issue with iPodder/Juicer.

Other than iTunes, do you have a suggestion for a similar/better podcast client.

Thanks.

issue short term patch

The iPodder/Juice issue is still going on. We are tracking the progress but it's not fixed yet.

The short term solution for juice to get the podcasts is in effect. If there are any problems please let us know.

For anyone interested... the short term fix is to not track stats with feedburner. Turning that off will direct people straight to our files with no tracking. It's a pain for us but Juice should work again.

If there are any issues please let us know.

If you've already

If you've already implemented the temporary "fix", thanks. But, it's not doing anything.

The client side is still pulling down the funky link to your mp3 on feedburner as described in the first post.

Just a heads up as I seem to be the only listener out there with this issue.

God bless.

Thanks for staying on top of this...

Hey Ron...
Thanks for staying on top of this. The attempted "fix" MF implemented didn't cut it. The best solution would be to temporarily grab the feed directly from: http://www.geeksandgod.com/gee...

We'll alert you when it's fixed permanently, and you can switch back. We have numerous subscribers on Juice, but you're the first we've heard from...not sure if anyone else is affected or not.

Thanks again...

Juice recently released an

Juice recently released an update that doesn't fix the feedburner problem, but dances around it and grabs the podcasts anyway.

However, it only works for newly downloaded links. If Juice/iPodder has already pulled down the bad feedburner link, you'll have to grab the file manually.

iPodder, though, has no similar fix and from what I can tell will not have one as it seems iPodder has been dropped for Juice (which is the same program from what I can find).

So, for your listeners that are currently using iPodder (am I the only one?!)... download and install Juice. You won't lose your subscriptions and the links to previously downloaded podcasts are sustained. Oh, and the update lets you get feedburner casts.
