I've never done this type of thing before in a church setting, although, I am a Production Assistant at a local television station, so I am familiar with some aspects of audio.
Any tips on how to run a basic set-up in a church?
Audio Episodes
One of the things you can start with is our audio episodes. They are mostly geared at recording but many of the same concepts apply. I think a big part of this is learning the audio concepts and how to notice them in action. Then, learning how to manipulate a sound system based on them.
