I have a 1680 x 1050 monitor, and man.... that snuck up on me! :]
But wow, yes.. that's a pretty nice effect. =)
I wonder if something like it could be done to produce a very subtle "glowing rays" effect. Suppose you were to do something of a stained glass window on the upper-left corner of the screen with warm golden rays just draping diagonally down to a spot on the floor......
