Hey Turbo_bws,
I haven't had a chance to view that video yet.. So I wasn't aware of that zip file. I just downloaded it and extracted it. I'm able to view it ok in Adobe. Great info! Probably wouldn't hurt to download it again and re try it.
I wouldn't be much help to you concerning audio podcasts. I'm not really a newbie, but I haven't explored Drupal as well as I should have. But I'm getting there!
Have a great day,
Shane
Hey,
I downloaded that file from a different computer and it worked, although its just the presentation slides, i was hoping for a detailed walkthough on setting up audio sermons on a site.
If anyone knows of any such tutorials please let me know.
Kind regards,
Turbo_bws
Turbo_bws, check out http://mustardseedmedia.com/podcast/episode19
Thanks NonProfit, i have seen that one, but after watching it again, combined with the building church websites video, it did seem to fill in a few gaps. I think the place im having the issues is using views, to present my sermon categories and structure my sermon pages, to view correctly. anyway i'll keep at it and see how i go.
Hey turbo_bws,
To use Drupal effectively, everyone really needs to understand, at minimum, Views and CCK.
This might help, http://gotdrupal.com/videos/drupal-views-tutorial and may this http://dtutorials.com/category/views
If you're able to spend some money, http://store.lullabot.com/products/learning-views is a great resource as well.
Blessings!

Hi all,
Just found this site at the perfect time! i've only ripped half my hair out sofar.
I've just watched the 'Building church websites with Drupal video' http://dc2009.drupalcon.org/session/building-churc... from Drupalcon and the multimedia sermon setup they explained, is exactly what im trying to do! i've watched the video like six times and tryed to follow the steps, almost got there but i think there are a few parts i've missed.
At the end of the vid they say there is documentation at this address geeksandgod.com/files/drupalcondc.zip
but the file seems to be corrupt when i download it.
Can anyone direct me to detailed walk throughs on setting up audio sermons (for begginers)?
Thanks heaps GeeksandGod for putting all this info out there, Awesome work!
