What is OpenID?

node author not being updated..

When a node is edited by a different user, the node author does not change - it is still shown as the original author.

Any ideas why this could be? It happens for all content types in the system. :-(

No - the site was still in development

I keep all caching off whilst developing - I only turn it on after launch. Unless there's a cache I don't know about?

Oh, I must have misunderstood your question. When someone edits a node you want to change the node author to the current user?

Well, you could use triggers and actions. Someone posted a simple action module to do this very thing: http://drupal.org/node/199216
