I'm running the most recent version (2.7.1). I think it's an easy interface as well. We did have training; I let them go through the steps as I watched and coached as well; I thought they had it.
One of them has their own blog setup elsewhere, so they're not working with foreign concepts and practices....
I guess I'm looking for something that eliminates their interaction with the backside/admin/dashboard stuff and simply pops up a posting interface that has space for a title, content, and maybe images.
I'm at a loss. (Perhaps now you understand my profile pic?)
There is a guide to setting up Posterous to post to Wordpress that you might want to read. I'm guessing there is going to be difference in setting this up on your own Wordpress install, but it could be a good starting point if you choose to go that way.
We've been using WordPress for our site for nearly two years. It's mostly a static site, but I want it to become more interactive. Ultimately, I want the rest of the staff to use it to post more frequently, at least weekly (or monthly, even every other blue moon...). However, they say that the interface for posting is too confusing; they don't know where to begin or what to do.
Any thoughts about plugins or workflow that could help them feel more comfortable using WP?
