Just a little suggestion - I often use the recent comment stream - http://geeksandgod.com/comments/recent - to catch up on posts. What would make this much more usable for me is to align the topic (the Reply to field) top-aligned vertically. On long posts, having to scroll to see the original thread title makes it difficult to follow threads. I have mentioned this in the past.
Second, how about truncating the post (in the recent posts) to a set number of characters? Just a thought. I'll know within a few lines if I want to read the rest of the post and it would make the page much easier to read and more compact.
