Hey all...
I just added a new feature to the site that allows you to use a Google Map to set your location in your user profile. This will allow you to easily set an exact longitude/latitude for your location, which allows us to show a map of where everyone is!

If you're logged in go to your user profile and click 'edit'. Then, scroll down and you'll see a map where you can choose your location.

Once you're all done, view the new users map to see where G&G folks are located.

Enjoy! (in the future I'd like to have a map of posts as well...)

Which CCK module did you use

Which CCK module did you use for this mapping system or is it CCK since it is in profile?

Out of the box location

@shrop, this is just using location coupled with gmap The functionality you see is working right out of the box. I wanted to do some more advanced functionality, but didn't have the time to work it out.

I'm not posting the link elsewhere (in the site navigation) because I want to make sure it's integrated well before making it an 'official' feature...
