We are a growing church and have basically outgrown our old PBX in terms of both the number of incoming lines it supports, the number of extensions it supports, and the amount of voicemail it will hold. So we are looking into getting a new phone system and one consideration would be getting an IP based system for our office. We would ideally need something that can handle 5+ outside lines including fax (although our fax line is currently independent of our system.) I am very open to anyone who has some suggestions and any feedback on how to setup an IP based system and whether it is worth the cost. We have plenty of CAT5 ports & cabling, so that isn't an issue, but we would probably need to get a power of ethernet switch and get phones that have hubs in them. We would need phones and a softphone solution would not work for us.
