We record our Sunday sermons to CD, using a newly purchased CD recorder.
It was set up before I was in charge of the audio booth, and so I always assumed it was hooked up correctly. It's set-up so it comes out from the board.
I'm not an expert at all with audio set-up and recording, and just had some questions regarding the way I'm doing things...
I'm currently running out from the board into the CD recorder. Is this the best way to do it, should I consider just running out from the Pastor's mic channel directly?
If you listen to one of our recent sermons online for example, this sermon here, I've been getting a "buzz" in the background. Sometimes the "buzz" isn't as noticeable - it varies week to week. Is there a way to eliminate that when it gets recorded so I don't have to spend time fixing it afterwards?
Thanks for any advice. Like I said, I know the basics, but being a 1-man sound crew, just trying to get the best out with what I have.
