Digital Signage for Mac

I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for Mac based digital signage software that we can use to create and play digital signage layouts. The signage should support live video, image slideshows, and news feeds.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Just wanted to let everyone

Just wanted to let everyone know that I may have found a winner. It is called Media Sign Pro - Digital Signage Software, and it is exclusive to Macs. I was able to download a trial a few days ago and have been testing it non-stop since then. It does everything I asked for and it is really easy to use. Plus the price tag doesn't look too bad either compared to other solutions I have seen. I will continue to test this software out and keep everyone posted on how it goes.

Has anyone else used or heard about this company before?

Thanks!

Digital Recall Digital Dynamic Signage

For anyone looking for a Windows solution, we've been using Digital Recall for electronic signage around campus for my day job.

Their system supports multiple stations linked to the master by dumping the configuration (Access .mdb file and the media) on an FTP server. This really limits management to a single workstation, and there are some other things about it that are a bit clunky, but we've had pretty good support from them (primarily via email due to the time difference) and they've been fairly responsive to feature requests.

They offer a free download to let prospective users try out the system, although you do have to register before receiving the download link.

I can't say it's the best solution out there, but it's the one we chose and worth a look if you're in the market for digital signage.

Edit: Ugh, sorry. Just noticed the original topic specifically says "for Mac". Oh well. Hopefully someone will find this useful anyway.

We are using Drupal to drive

We are using Drupal to drive digital signage. It is basically a recipe we call Spectacle. It leverages CCK, Views, Panels and a custom theme for each layout style. I hope to get it out there on drupal.org sometime and will be glad to update this community at that point.

We use Mac Minis and Opera to display full screen web pages for the signage.

More info?

Hey Shrop! We're just looking to do digital signage with Drupal too. Would you mind giving me some more info of how you've accomplished it? Or a demo perhaps?

Shrop, would love to see what you've got so far. I am not a big Drupal dev, so standing on the giants' shoulders is my forte... Do share! :)
