Well, it was VERY short but sweet...they just played about 10 seconds of our intro towards the end of this story (here's the audio it's at 4:17). But, we got a shoutout on the blog entry for the show.
I'm just glad we didn't sound dumb. :)
I think it came across pretty well. It’s pretty funny that they picked the one time you mentioned Twitter compared to all the times you bring up Drupal. (Twitter is a liiiiittle bit closer to public knowledge than Drupal, but not much.)
And, I have to say that for my own podcast listening, audio quality is very important. I can’t say that I’ve gotten rid of podcasts with poor audio quality, but if that situation is consistent, I do think twice about listening. Poor quality audio certainly affects the signal to noise ratio.
Hey All...
A clip from this podcast will be on National Public Radio (NPR) today during the "All Things Considered" program. They're talking about churches and technology and are going to play a segment from the Twitter episode.
So, hold your breath and pray our server doesn't die :)
Side Lesson: When i talked to the NPR producer today, he mentioned that they picked the show partly because our audio quality was really good. So, let that be a lesson: Being an audio snob in your church and getting them to buy higher quality recording gear may pay off...people are looking for good quality audio!
