Hi Luke,
I too am from CWM, though not so much this past year. I'm glad they decided to merge with G&G - a great Christian Drupal site!
I started using Drupal earlier this year (probably the reason I haven't been back to CWM) and had come across G&G via a link on Lullabot. I'm very much a Drupal fanatic and look forward to using this site to not only get/give help with Drupal, but catch up with some old friends from CWM.
Let me officially welcome all of you from CWM to the G&G Forums. I really hope you find this community to be warm, inviting, and useful. That's our goal.
I'm glad you came over. If there is any feedback you have please feel free to share. We love feedback and are always willing to listen.
Hi Luke. This new place is looking good. I'll also post here and introduce myself to others as well. I'm also a long term CWM member. I have several of my own websites including Cheamweb, which has some of my photography from the Fraser Valley, BC region where I live. I have been on a couple short-term missions in the past, including to Spain and Peru. I was in Peru a couple years ago with SIM where I was involved in some web related work for the mission.
I also look forward to learning more about Drupal as I now use it for my Cheamweb site.
David
Hello,
I'm iLuke (or just Luke) from CWM. I was an administrator in their forums before they merged with G&G.
I'll briefly introduce myself to this community:
I am a 23 year old webmaster for the University of Cincinnati. I grew up in East Africa and hope to return there someday soon to do media work and provide opportunities for advancement for Africans. I am a recent graduate of Asbury College's Media Communications program where I emphasized in web development and media production. I am looking forward to being married to my girlfriend of 4 years this upcoming August.
I sincerely hope to see a lot of familiar faces from CWM here, and look forward to meeting the folks from this community as well.
God bless,
Luke
