The Rizers, a kids album focusing on scripture

This seems like a fun album. I listened to the previews on iTunes. I think they've done a lot of things right here. I can tell from the clips alone that it's clearly aimed for kids, but with a good CCM/rock feel to it (won't drive parents crazy, and makes kids feel like they're "big kids"). I also like that it's directly aimed towards scripture memorization and not simply repeating Bible stories.
There's nothing wrong with Bible stories (songs of declaration), but there's just something about worship songs based directly on scripture that tends to really grab my attention.

It's been a while since I've posted anything on here, but I thought this was worth taking a look at.
There is a Christian animated kids series starting up called "The Rizers". At this point they just released their first album which you can find here: iTunes or Amazon. They haven't come out with the animated part yet, just the music. You can also find them on Facebook and Twitter.
A friend of mine recorded and mixed the whole album which is how I first heard about it. Though I might be slightly biased I really think this is something that might really take off. I found myself listening to all the songs on repeat for several days after getting some rough mixes of the songs.
I just want to spread this around as much as I can. If you have kids you might want to take a listen. Let me know what you think!
