Forcing Cache Update

Guesssss who's backkk.....

I have finally been given the OK, re-model the website of the radio station I work for. I have added a "recently played" feature to the site. It is done in flash and gets its info from a php file with standard flash var format like this.

CODE
&song1title=grey&song1artist=barlowgirl

The swf loads the php file every 15 second or so. FireFox is updating fine, but i cant get IE to update for nothing!

What am I doing wrong here?

Sorry I can't offer much

Sorry I can't offer much assistance, but I do see an error at the bottom of the page (as well as a lot of white space with spaces placed in various areas). Maybe this will help? I doubt it /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

nNope, that's completely

nNope, that's completely unrelated (99.8% sure)... that has to with the cruddy host we are on, and dealing with some artifacts from the last site.

I hate redesigning old sites. You should see some of the code in here. One page I was updating had 15 span tags surrounding one word.

In your flash at the section

In your flash at the section that calls the php script, pass another variable like

"&cachebuster="+(random(100000)*100);

This will fix flash from caching any files it reads on a regular basis.
