Im getting a bit frustrated over why i cant get phpmyadmin working lol apache is so easy.

Anyway i work in an internet company and my boss wants me to install phpmyadmin to the already online web server running iis, phpmyadmin sql etc. Now ive tried following a few guides on phpmyadmin about sticking it in root directory etc but i cant view phpmyadmin to run the setup, actually cant even view the site, its likes it not there What my boss wants is one install being able to operate on all different users for their individual databases

Thankyou in advance for any suggestions advice

what is the address of the

what is the address of the site? Have you configured the site in the IIS administration? If you can load a basic HTML page, that would be a good place to start. Is the DNS setup?

This is on a webserver and has about 60 sites, currently all sites work with iis,
how ever if your refering to phpmyadmin im not sure about the configuration required, ive tried alot of different things including add phpmyadmin as a site made sure about case sensitivity, still nothing also put phpmyadmin in root directory inetpub as well the virtual place where others are stored, im pretty good at following walkthrough if you can give me steps on instaling phpmyadmin, however this setup could be custom lol

DNS is setup

Sorry for being slow to see your reply Geoff

Have you tried loading a static HTML file from the phpmyadmin directory? I am not sure what you mean by "cant even view the site" - that was why I asked if DNS (local) is setup. I don't know much about using IIS - I have only played with PWS in Win 98 /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

The phpMyAdmin configuration

The phpMyAdmin configuration is horrible at best. Good luck getting it setup /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

phpPgAdmin blows MyAdmin out the water in terms of easily getting it configured. All phpPgAdmin requires is that you unzip it. *gasp*!
