Just a note to those looking into squarespace there are a lot of promo codes for squarespace floating about that give you 10% off the life of the membership. This Week In Tech (TWIT.tv) had one that I know of. Not sure what the promo code is but the website should have it some where or just listen to the lastest podcast and get it from there.
I think it is a great idea to check them out. If they have the right price and give you the tools you need, it is worth a shot. I hear their back-end infrastructure is solid and can handle increases in traffic quite gracefully.
Please let us know how it goes if you move in this direction.
I'm interested in this option, too. I've used them for other sites and LOVE the interface and flexibility. But, my church (like many) needs a CMS that is very event-driven, and I'm not sure how to incorporate that with Squarespace...Any ideas, folks?
I founded a company that specializes in Church Websites built on the Squarespace platform. It works really well. Check out our website to get more details on the how and why Sheepish Design.
Anyone have any experience using [Squarespace] for a church website. It looks like a very interesting platform. For our church which is severely IT-challenged the SaS model is appealing.
