This is Billy Bevan with Power Bit Web Design. We have currently received inquiry for the following project. Please review the following objectives and respond to bevan.billy[at}gmail{dot}com if you are some one you know may be interested in this project. There may be possibility for ongoing wok in the future.
ARTC.com is being built out in Flash AS3 and needs a database component added to it for the websites completion. There are three main components to this website that needs to be built out. One, the site will need an e-commerce component to sell the subscriptions; two, the database will need to be able to automatically upload data (.swf/html files) to the site via time stamp or whatever methodologies that make sense to the database designer and is agreed upon; and three the site needs an internal search component to gather info for the end-user on a search page.
Generate email responses for purchases and to have the capability to update Username/Password.
*
Have the ability to make future purchases from within the site (functionality for a later date).
Database for Core Component of site:
*
Main page will need code to extract data from Yahoo finance to update a stock ticker tape on the website.
*
Database will need to have the ability to upload .swf/.html files based on a time stamp. Ie., based on whatever naming convention we come up with say “04_04_09_solar.swf or .html” than that file would be uploaded on April 4th, 2009 and so forth. This way I will be able to back date files and preload files for the end user. There will also need to be a next day and previous day function; however they can not be able to access the following day (the day after the present – tomorrow).
*
On the support page there are some for forms that are ready to be deployed; it requires basic functionality, minimal coding.
Search Component of the site:
*
Looking for an internal search component to the website, that will gather information accumulated over time to be displayed on the search page.
*
The search page will be setup sort of like the resource page where you select the category and a list is generated as well as a text field search. From that list when the end user clicks on the link a GUI of some sort (a JavaScript pop-up?) will generate and list of the searched item/s. Items in the list will need to reflect the date the information was generated or uploaded to the database and in conjunction with the Core Component, bullet point 2. So if I type in the search field 04-04-2009 or solar the example from above should be displayed. When the link is selected a GUI with the .swf /.html file should be generated.
If there are any other questions or specific I am more than happy to talk about it while online. The Trademark and Copyright information has already been submitted and approved.
