Hey everybody God bless, my church needs to built a brand new website from scratch but I need a do it yourself application to do it, so anybody can update the content on the site.

I was looking at this website web.com where they claim do have a nice software to do a project like this, but my question actually if you guys know a good web hosting where I can do this. I don't want to build the website using a pc software, web based it's great for me

any recomendation is really appreciated.

thank you all.

Greetings,

I am not familiar with web.com, although they look like an interesting option. I suggest just making sure that they not only fit your budget and what you are trying to do today, but can grow with you as you look to where you want your Church site to go.

If you decide that web.com is not the direction you want to go, feel free to give me a call because I run my own company that is a web development firm (Webolution Designs). I would be more than happy to discuss assisting you with your church's site.

In Christ's Love,

I am not familiar with

I am not familiar with web.com, so this does not necessarily apply to them, but be careful about signing up for a "we help you build your site" offer. MAke sure you check out what the $9.95 actually covers. You might find out it is for a very basic site, and every add'l module or feature is another fee.

There are Christian programs similar to web.com. Forministry.com is one (and it's free); not recommending, just pointing them out -- their templates etc. would be suited to church sites. There's a CWM member but I can't remember who, whose business is something like this.

I've never used it but I

I've never used it but I remember coming across this before: http://forministry.com. It's a free site put out by the American Bible Society. Might be worth looking into.
