Let me know what you think. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Here is what I think of my website:

- The layout is decent.
- It appeals to the eye.
- It is rich in features.

However, one of the struggles we've been having is getting members to post edification topics. /unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> Don't get me wrong - all of our members are wonderful, but there's definitely room for improvements. I'd like to see more spirit and less doctrine. Know what I mean? Granted, I haven't been doing my part either, so I guess I can't complain...

Anyway. Does anyone have suggests about the site?

I'll be working on adding more content soon, such as "How to become a Christian." I am blessed to have a few Devotional writers on the site who have been very helpful.

I agree, but I'm not sure where else to put them.

macfoto,

I moved most of the links into a side menu. This has improved the look quite a bit, in my opinion.

Hi Brent,

Nicely done. I like the overall look and feel. You've got a ton of data to display and you've dont a good job of putting it up cleanly.

A couple suggestions.

First, consider changing the Favorite Icon that loads, right now its the little tent from PHPBB. You can make a Favorite Icon and see how to replace that at the URL below:

Creating Favorite Icons from Pics

Changing that icon out will give you a more professional look. If you cant see what I'm talking about try looking at the page in Firefox.

Second, you might consider ordering your sections in your sidebar (vertical menu area) according to what users want most. I would order them as such:

1. Your menu as is
2. Recent Topics - this deserves more attention than stats and online users.
3. Who Is Online - if you are going to run this and stats, keep them together as they are somewhat related. If I had to choose, i would run stats and delete who is online.
4. Statistics
5. Bible Gateway Search

overall, very well done, keep up the good work.
