Hey all, I'd like you to check out my not-so-new blog, and let me know what you think in terms of design, content, etc. Anything at all I should change? Thanks a ton! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

There isn't much to change, except perhaps the Mac focus. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

MrHerald:

Were you being facetious, or do you think the scope of the content is too narrow? I'm not entirely bound by the Mac focus; my latest article is an overview of the predominant CMS's out there today. I've always had a problem with starting a website with a narrow focus and later expanding that focus so the original domain and title no longer fit. I really need to come up with a good, all-encompassing name and stick with it, like CWOD (The Colossal Waste of Bandwidth).

I was primarily

I was primarily kidding.

Although, I believe that anybody who starts a blog based upon one particular topic needs to be an expert in that topic (or is at least in a particular situation which makes that topic an integral part of their life). A Mac blog should be filled with information that is cutting edge for Macs, not content that could be found just by reading another average Mac blog.

I didn't read through many posts so I'm not dragging you out in the street to shoot you with this reply, I'm just saying that there aren't that many bloggers capable of being real authorities on a subject like that.

Is the blog about first source Mac information or is it about you and what you find interesting? If it is about you then you are probably the foremost expert on yourself and that is the angle you should take.

I looked back through your archives and it looks like you have had some trouble with feeling inspired to post. I think the Mac focus has choked you back.

MrHerald: Thanks for the advice. I'd really like to expand the focus to more broad things, as I have started to do. It has choked me back in the past, but I'm starting to come around with it.

I love the design! It's sweet, simple and clean and the colors work well together.
