Hi Lajja,Viewed in Firefox

Hi Lajja,

Viewed in Firefox 1.0:

1. Branding is important so I would suggest developing a logo so people will instantly know who you are.
2. Are the Sponsored Links really necessary? It adds quite a bit more text to the screen and is distracting.
3. Navigation is not intuitive. I would incorporate the links into the header. Right below the 7 boxed graphics. At the very least, links should have an underline when rolled over.
4. There needs to be more padding between the left navigation bar and the main text. The words almost run into each other.
5. Why does the dark blue header background changes size from page to page? The theme should be consistent throughout all of the pages.

I hope this helps!

Hi Jeff, thank for the tips.

Hi Jeff,

thank for the tips. For the logo, i dont think its necessary in my profession. Still will consider the idea. Yes I need to fix the problem with the padding. i will reconsider the navigation bar positioning too. The problems of the blue bar is now fixed except on the contact page. Sponsered links need to be there as of now.

Lajja,I would strongly

Lajja,
I would strongly encourage you to get your own domain. Maybe you are already???
If not, think about it:

the geocities address says "non-professional."
THe address is not particularly easy to remember.
Many people really dislike visiting geocities sites because of the popups and sidebars.

Sooner or later you're going to want to get your own domain. And by then, people will have this site bookmarked. When you get your own domain, they'll need to learn the new address, and search engines will already have your site indexed to the geocities address.

It's not that expensive to get a domain and get hosting. There are many hosts offering hosting by the year for well under $50-60, and the domain is $60 or less for two years, depending on who you register through.

Best wishes.

Here's the web-host I use:

Here's the web-host I use: http://pjlhosting.com/ He is a Christian, it cost's $50/mon, optional +$5.00 for MySQL, and he keeps your information secret. go here, then type a used domain (any one that is taken up), click go, type the numbers in, then it will give you the person's (who signed up for that domain) info (street address, phone number, email address, fax number, etc. /ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" /> ) With pjlgosting, Mr. Peter Louie puts his own info on it for you, to keep your info secret. /specool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":specool:" border="0" alt="specool.gif" />

Just something you can chew on /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

I didn't not believe you.. So he owns your domain and has the rights to it..

I guess that is fine if you don't want control of the domain..

Most of the registars offer

Most of the registars offer namecloaking... I think registerfly.com is .99 for their ID protection plan. Plus they don't own your domain name.
