So, it only makes sense. God wants us to spread the good news throughout the world. The best way to do that is to give it away, right? Why make people pay to read the gospel? In walks Mr Open Source to the rescue.

We talk about open source and free technologies alot on the podcast. Today, Matt gives us yet another great open source project which seeks to put the bible on your desktop for free. It's called the "Sword Project", and it combines the beauty of open source software with the crucial words of scripture.

And, to top it all off, The Sword Project offers more than just your standard KJV. It also has Greek and Hebrew translations (along with many other languages), and offers some other writings related to scripture, such as those of Luther or Josephus.
