  • Best Service for Video Reporting

Hello fellow Geeks! First post, so hope I'm posting to the correct forum. We're looking for ideas and suggestions on the best and fastest on-line video service.

In August our church gathers for a international convention where about 12,000 people attend for an entire week. There are thousands of people who can't attend the convention, so we do an official video webcast for live broadcast.

In addition, we want to do informal video reports 2 or 3 times a day of activities and happenings throughout the convention. These will be less than 5 minutes each, and don't need to be "live broadcast" since we want people to view them on demand. We have the staff, camcorders, and computers to edit and create the videos, and have some ideas about the content of these videos, such as interviews, convention highlights, etc.

The need is, to find a free on-line video services (YouTube, GodTube, Vimeo, etc.) to upload the video reports. However, the main requirement is for the service to process our videos fast, so the reports can be made available in our website the same day. We have used YouTube and Google video before, but it takes hours, if not days for them to process the video and make it available.

Once the videos are available for viewing, we are going to embed them in our website. We may setup a video podcast in iTunes but that may also introduce delays in the uploading of videos.

    Questions:
What video service can work best for us? Do you have any experience doing this in similar situations? Any other free services we need to take a look at? Is YouTube faster now on uploads?

    Thanks.
