I'm stumped and I need some help.
Here's the environment:
I've got a view that produces a list of courses (courses is a CCK node type). I've got a Register webform for registering. The form has a date field (actually a simple textfield designated to hold a date). I want to generate a link from the view to the webform that prepopulates the date field.
The code in the Link Path field for the date field in the view is:
I've been thinking (boy, that's dangerous) that since IE 8 has been released by Microsoft I ought to install it so that I can see how my sites look. However, the most logical machine do to the installation on is also the machine where I do most of my development and maintenance so I'm not too inclined to be bleeding edge. Also, I need to know how my sites look with IE 7. IE 8 is supposed to emulated other versions and I wonder how well this works.
So, has anybody tried it yet? And, if so, what are your experiences?
Thanks,
Curt
I'm wondering what the consensus is about using Drupal 6 to construct new, general purpose, real world sites. With the launch of Acquia Drupal which seems to contain many of the most commonly used modules (especially CCK and Views) and the availability of many other modules for D6 it looks like this might be a reasonable thing to do.
What do you folks think?
Thanks,
Curt
