Hi All!
I was in a meeting today and we are bouncing around the idea of offering free and paid file hosting services for churches. The idea of the service would be simple, upload a file, get a URL to the file, and you can link to it. The free version would come with size limits and you would have to deal with some ads on the site, but the paid version would remove all ads and would give you more space.
Is this something as designers, developers, web guys, you would be interested in?
We run our servers on Rackspace servers that are very similar to Amazon EC2 type servers.
Hello all!
We have been very busy at Simple Church Marketing getting out new site ready for launch! We are not quite there yet, but I wanted to get your feedback on the new look! You can go to: http://www.simplechurchmarketing.com/ and see for yourself! We have a few alignment issues still that we are working on. But please let me know how you like the site!
Thanks!
Hey everyone! I just released a list of 45 Twitter Apps that can help your church. But I wanted to open a conversation here. So, what do you see Twitter doing, if anything, for your church?
I wanted to share with everyone here a new project that I am working on!
I have started a project called churchwebsiteideas.com. The main goal is to get relevant tools and ideas to those of us who update, design or do anything church website related. Each month I am hoping to provide free Wordpress, Joomla, and Drupal themes that designers can take, modify, and use for their own projects!
This area of the message board hasn't seen a new post in awhile, so I thought I would pose a question that came up today. What is the hardest part of managing a church's website?
For us, we see a lot of challenges in managing church websites. Getting podcasts up in a timely manner, updating images, and content for the upcoming week. Looking over SEO strategies, changing keywords, and managing paid search campaigns. What are some of the things you wish were easier? Things you love doing?
