I have been hearing nothing, but "I'm not sure it works with 5" and "You have to do this, this, and this extra work to install it"
I'm running a site that is rather large, and close to being launched. It is of course Drupal 5, but I need to utilize the similar functionality of CiviCRM. I basically need to run a CRM tool on the backend of it.
Does anyone have any ideas for me? Does CiviCRM work with Drupal 5? Do I have to worry about it breaking my site?
Let me know.
BTW...You guys are great.
I am trying to figure out how to add an 'Add Me as a Friend' button. Can anyone maybe direct me in a way to create such a button.
I was thinking I would put it in a block that shows up on the user profile, but I can't seem to create that link.
I will be in the IRC #drupal-support channel tonight if anyone gets this and wants to help.
Thanks.
I may have missed a topic, but I am in desperate need of understanding HTML emails.
I have someone wanting to be able to attach some HTML content, but he uses Hotmail.
From all of my research I understand it is not possible, but I don't get it. I receive them all the time. Of course none from hotmail accounts, but if they can receive them. I would think logically they could send them.
All I need is to link an image to an email from hotmail.
Can anyone help?
Okay...it's me again. I think I'm just too much of a novice at all of this, but I can't seem to get my trasfered site from MAMP to subdomain site to work. I have taken my drupal database and uploaded it. However, I had issues with the watchdog database being full. I cleared it (not dropped just emptied) and now...I go to the subdomain site, and everything looks like a new installation. I go directly to the subdirectory that hosts the subdomain and all looks good, but of course clean URLs being gone means non-working site. I don't have any clue what i'm doing wrong here. I have the settings.php updated with mySQL information correctly, but no site. PLEASE HELP! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
Hey guys...I just started listening to the Podcast a few weeks ago because I started in on Drupal. I am developing some rather complex sites currently for a business development company to use as a community to coach people and such from.
However, I am having an issue here. I need clean URLs, but I don't know that my server will do it. I need to invest in a dedicated host, but for now...I have GoDaddy. It has served me well up until this. I don't have full access to the server, and my .htaccess rules are all correct, but I need to know what I can do if there is no mod_rewrite.
Can you help me.
BTW, Thanks for the spectacular podcast. My next project is the ministry I work with.
