I am looking for information about the benefits of video podcasting. We already record audio and distribute it, but there is some resistance to videoing sermons for the website.

Intuitively I think adding video makes it a far more effective medium, and far more likely that people will engage instead of getting distracted surfing in the background.

What are the benefits?
Has anyone got metrics of what happened when they switched to video?
Has anyone got a one page sales pitch to present to the staff/vestry/board etc..?
