Evernote is a system for taking and storing information. It includes website, desktop, and mobile phone applications that are all connected and synchronized. 40 Mb a month is allowed for the free service but you can upgrade and get more features and space. It integrates into you life seamlessly. It has plugins that work with firefox, internet explorer, and even outlook. You can store pictures, audio files, entire websites, and even hand written notes using a touch screen pda or smartphone.

  • Mahalo Site for Geeks and God

So I was going around the internets and found Mahalo.com. Its a human power search engine that is kinda cool. You can make and edit sites. So I decided after making a site for my work I would make a site for Geeks and God.

    Geeks and God

I'll keep working on making the landing page better. I figure the more places Geeks and god info lives the more people will find this great site. Feel free to help me build the site to look and feel better.

  • Handling enthusiasm without experience

I am working on a project with a hobby robotics group I am a part of. These are non Christians but I am sorta using this as a learning experience in how to coordinate people through the internet and cooperatively work on projects together. We are designing a robotics standard to be used by hobbyists.

Anyway. With Lost ministries I want to do more of this as my community grows and have run into a problem on the other project that would be very tricky in a Christian environment. So I thought I would ask here and see if anyone had a good idea for the best way to handle it.

  • Fairness Doctrine

I was burdened to pray for this recently and thought I would bring it to the attention of those here because it needs a lot of prayer. I work in Christian radio. The new administration of our country is pushing for this Fairness doctrine bill to be passed. If this passes then Christian radio might be required to broadcast alternative view points after specific talk radio shows. This will hurt a lot of good organizations and stations.

  • Kiva for Missionaries?

I noticed some adds for a service called Kiva. I think thats the name. www.kiva.com (can't check the site because of work) Anyway I was wondering if anyone had thought to do this with missionaries? This kinda fits into a corner of what I want to do with Lost Ministries but is more financial in nature instead of labor related. But I think when I get my site where I want it including this will be easy.
