Biography

I am a freelance educator, living in South Wales, and Founder of the Eternal Purpose Institute. I trained in the fundamentals of Christian mission and leadership with DCI, whilst embarking upon a career as a structural engineer. I later founded a business in desktop publishing and printing, in order to take a step closer towards my vocational aspiration—to write and publish educational, theological resources designed to equip under-resourced missional leaders within Africa.

A season of personal study and intercessory prayer provided foundational material for a series of teaching on discipleship, mission and intercession that took place in Kenya, in 2000. This developed into the mobile academy of mission that I have primarily taught to missionary pastors and emerging leaders within Burkina Faso, West Africa, over the past five years.

In 2008, I completed a Masters degree in Intercultural Studies, laying an academic foundation for my application and acceptance into a Doctor of Missiology research program (ongoing) with Fuller Theological Seminary. The DMiss research will examine the contextual development and delivery of a missional, educational curriculum, in partnership with Burkinabé leaders and learners.

    Fao Drupal webmasters:

I am seeking some advice about optimum ways to display multiple pdf files and (sometimes) information attached to them within a node. I want to be able to expose the files within Views, obviously and then to display the various views in different sections of the website.

  • Theming a file-field

I've installed file-field module and swf tools, following the excellent mustard seed podcast about the same elements. However, I'm utilising Tapestry theme which doesn't have node.tpl.php or play nicely with it and associated content-type.tpl.php (it breaks admin_hover which I use for a start). Although I did get the 1 pixel out player to work by this method.

Thus, I'm trying to theme using the same principles applied to the File Field, also referring to the CCK Advanced Help files.
