Im must say, Joomla 1.6 is amazing compared to v1.5
They have cleaned up alot of (IMO) code and features, for a faster and cleaner joomla!

So what about modules, plugins and components, will they still work? Good question! -- I really dont know. But every thirdparty installation i have in my joomla site have WORKED fine. If they don't, developers have been pretty quick to upgrade there M,P,C's to be compatitable.

Awhile ago Rockettheme brought out the GANTRY framework. (originally for joomla) but have done a plugin for WP.
Im currently designing with it right now.

Notes so far: You really need to know how the framework works;functionality and file structure. Without that, you won't get to far with a unique design.

Just like to know if anyone has used CCB (Church Community Builder). Very good software, but it lacks highly in customisation to front-end design.

My Church is currently using it as it has very good administrative features. Im wondering if anyone has used/is using the software, have they done a custom design for the front-end and what CMS did they use?
