My Church Office wants to create a set of HTML emails that replicate the visual design of a set of paper postcards and make the HTML emails available for sending from our site by visitors who supply:
The sending visitors own name and email address,
the destination email address of a friend,
a greeting/invitation from the visitor to their friend.
Any ideas how this could best be accomplished?
Existing modules that do this? That would help?
Anyone see any obstacles or other problems?
Flash Video is all the rage for internet presentation these days, and that requires encoding or transcoding.
Any one have suggestions on alternatvies?
"Best" alternatives?
Acceptable inexpensive alternatives?
Poor/bad alternatives?
It is hard to escape being impressed by the potential of utilizing the native support for Mootools (javascript library) in the new Joomla! release.
Not sure how readily this can be realized in Joomla!
(Much of the JQuery library isn't available in Drupal.)
Amy posted this lengthy list displaying examples from Mootools.
I've already seen a number of Joomla! themes taking advantage of some of this some of this.
I've noticed in recent months I'm finding many of the Drupal 6's new core features, can be added to Drupal 5 via contrib modules.
Here is my set list...
Are there others?
This isn't a Christina site (and I'm not Baha'i), but I see they recently updated their Drupal based US site rather impressively:
Visual layout and behavior appears to me very professional and well done. (The markup/CSS validation scores are not great)
