I'm a freelance web developer and it naturally falls to me to look after the church website which we've just relaunched. The aim of the relaunch was to improve on the previous design and improve communication by using a better user interface and more recent technology (such as.. video content, facebook, google streetview etc).

Hopefully it will meet its goals... ipswich community church .

I'm setting up as a freelancer and I was wondering if anyone knows of some good free/open source packages to help manage things like timecards / billing / invoices / projects / clients etc.

Or is it better to invest some money in this kind of thing? ... in which case which one should I look at?

Does anyone have any first hand experience of this kind of software?

Ipswich Community Church - bespoke design and CMS

I recently relaunched this site although it is constantly evolving. I'm aware it needs some optimization for loading speed in places and there are some layout issues in I.E 6 with the modal windows.... but please let me know if there's anything else that requires attention.
