Listening to the 1st new podcast & Pastor Lucas Forsthoff on his views on church growth. He asked what's wrong with wanting to have a church that is HUGE like for e.g. Joel Osteen. Personally I'd say a lot is wrong with that viewpoint, because Joel Osteen does not preach a biblical gospel in any shape or form and the vast volume of people who attend his "church" don't have a clue about real biblical salvation.

I'd love to hear you bounce around ideas for how you'd design a home page or specific page for our primary celebrations each year i.e. Christmas & Easter. I end up with a rather boring flash vid showing & struggle constantly how to best help my minister by presenting new pages in some way to pull in visitors more. I would dearly love to get some ideas on what types of things to look at using and in particular how to implement them in a Joomla platform site. Thanks

Only me again :). I'm having a major problem currently with trying to present flash vids on the site. Most players I've tried in Joomla are all fixed width etc, while most of my vids are various sizes, with the upshot that while one or two will show ok, many others are off the screen entirely. Anyone know how best to overcome this if you don't know enough to play around with settings. The players have settings for width etc, but the vids don't give much info on what size they are for me to change the settings which doesn't help much either.

Another one I'm struggling to find just now - our minister is going to do a sponsored bike ride to raise funds for the church, and I need some way of listing sponsors online and how much they want to pay if he's successful. It would preferably need to be flexible enough for people to allocate say 10p/mile (UK) and/or give a donation as well, although that's not mandatory. Another one I'm just a bit lost as to how to best set up, and unlike the 24-hr prayer event, this one is live and happening in less than a month!!
