Has anyone successfully switched from MS Office to OpenOffice? I just started using OpenOffice at home to bypass the MS world but haven't played with it much.

Searched the forums, asked the Music guy at church and still don't have an answer.

We are going to begin playing around with ustream to broadcast our services online. Anyone know the rules(looking for an opinion and not legal advice ;) ) concerning doing this and copyrighted music used in services? I know you can record on Ustream also but we would only record the message and special events with no copyrighted stuff.

Or can someone point me to the legal references for this?

I have been playing around with the Prayer Center extension for a couple of weeks now. Seems to be quite a nice extension I must say. I would like to see the ability to send out text messages from this extension as well as e-mails. Don't know much about how that works but from talking to some others that would be extrememly powerful considering everyone today has a cell phone.

Someone submits a prayer request and then all of the sudden regardless of where your congregation is they get a text to pray for someone in need. Powerful!!!!

Anyone networking a ministry with Facebook? I have fought the social networking thing for a long time but finally signed up for a Facebook account. My question is this.
