    Hello all,

This may not be news for many, but I started listening to the Mixdown podcast. Really good stuff on sound. Basics are covered, but even the seasoned engineer may learn something.. http://5by5.tv/mixdown

Thanks to Micah for connecting me with the 5by5 podcasts. They are all pretty good!

  • In-The-Ear Monitor Systems

    Hello,

Our church is looking for an in-the-ear monitor system. I would like to find the system with the best value (cost vs. quality). Any recommendations from those who have systems they like or don't like with reasons why will be a great help. Also, which ear buds so musicians like the most. Do you require the musicians to purchase/bring their own ear buds or does the church provide?

    Thanks all!

  • ChMS Systems (specifically for children check-in)

We are looking at a ChMS system. We really want to sue for children's check-in to start with in this case. I have started an area in my delicious bookmarks for systems out there:

Any recommendations (other than Fellowship One)? I like F1, but it is expensive. Looking for something to start with and maybe graduate to F1 later.

Also, I really need help on recommendations for barcode scanners, printers, key chain bar codes, etc. that are needed to make checkin as simple as possible. Brands, models, etc.

    Any recommendations welcome!

    Thanks!

  • OSX MySQL editor

I know many of you use phpmyadmin to access MySQL. That is cool, but I don't allow phpmyadmin on my servers. Here is a great new app built for OS X. http://www.araelium.com/querious/

I have been a navicat fan and will still use it some, but the Querious UI is more mac like and more intuitive.

    Check it out..
