I have not been on here much recently but have previously read many interesting articles and loved the tutorials on this site.

I have a church website in drupal 6 now, and would like to be able to add the facility for a ROTA system to be added to the site.

The following are my ideas:

1. In the first section (setup area):

• A list of jobs could be created and when these jobs would happen (tea & coffee steward on each sunday morning)
• A user could be given a tick box that they were trained / willing for this job.

Hi All, - I'm a newbie here - my first post...

I am a website delvolper in my spare time for a ScriptureUnion camp in the UK and want to develop the site further without paying for MySQL space on my host's server.

I was told by a colleage that the Flat FIle database approach may be suitable.

Can anyone share their experiences of Flatfile databasing?
Can anyone tell me how to proceed in learing about how to implement something along these lines?
