  • Photo gallery?

What module do you use to create an imagefield-based photo gallery? I have been experimenting with this and can't find one I like. Gallery2 seems like overkill for a small site. A variety of others are promising but are in alpha stage and that is a little scary. I like the way that views_galleriffic looks, but I can't get it to work as advertised. Any pointers appreciated ... thanks.

  • Prayer for passion play

Every year we put on a passion play in the days leading up to Palm Sunday. It is a huge undertaking, and it keeps getting bigger. This time we have about 140 people on stage, 30 techs, plus staff, volunteers and random moms and dads helping out. It is an opportunity to present the Gospel in a fresh way, and people are making commitments to Christ. It is just a real joy to be a part of this effort. (I have family onstage, but my only contribution is the web site and sending mass emails.)

  • Podcast episode download stops halfway

Today I went back to hear episode 89 because I am going to switch webhosts soon, but no matter what I do it will not download the entire file. It gets to 4.2 megabytes and stops, until it times out. Playing the episode in the on-page player also stops part way through. Can you guys check this out?
    Thanks!

  • Looking for taxonomy advice

I can't figure out how to make a view exclude certain categories from an image module gallery view on drupal 5.11.

Here is the situation. I have a vocabulary type of "photos" and within that several terms like A, B and C, each with several terms under them. I want one image gallery to display photos from A and B, and a different gallery for C. So for the view I am selecting node type=image, vocabulary name "is all of" photos, and taxonomy:term "is none of" C and its sub-terms.

However the gallery for A and B still shows the C terms, even though they are empty. When I change the view to "is one of" A and B, I get the same thing.

How do I avoid having the empty galleries for categories I want to exclude?

    Any insights appreciated.

  • Site is slooooow

Just looking for advice on how to speed up drupal response time. The problem is with logged-in users only. Unauthenticated users get very quick access. Once you log on, the front page takes 30 to 45 seconds to load(!). I think it may be discouraging people from returning to the site. It is at www.hbgyfc.org and is hosted on www.1and1.com, and normal drupal caching is turned on.

    Suggestions appreciated. Thanks!
