Biography

Since about 1998 I have been the webmaster (a.k.a. advanced data entry person) for Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri (www.OCC.edu). This job has entailed updating most of the website content, creating graphics, formatting and sending out the monthly e-newsletter, maintaining online forms and documents, maintaining site calendars, formatting and uploading the weekly Chapel podcast, and a few other jobs. I have experience with Dreamweaver, using a custom made CMS (designed by a local company), some Visual Studio development, ForMinistry.com's Web Builder CMS system (for my church, www.CentralCityCC.org) and a little bit of code knowledge. I have graphics experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and Fireworks (CS3).

I'm currently working with another tech guy here at OCC on developing a new website for the college using Ektron's CMS 400.Net, for which I'm in sink-or-swim mode to learn some more advanced coding :-)

On a more personal note, I'm very happily married (since 1999) and have two sweet kids (March 2001 and June 2004). I enjoy serving my church as a deacon working in the area of technical needs (soundboard, EasyWorship, video creation, maintaining computers, etc.) In my free time I usually like doing puzzles (jigsaw or mind puzzles) or watch movies (sci-fi, action/adventure). I grew up in the Colorado Rockies (love skiing, snowboarding, and mountain climbing) and throughout high school was involved in sports (mainly wrestling and some football and track) and in music (played piano, trumpet and drums).
