My name is Jeffrey Miller. I live in North Lewisburg, Ohio with my lovely wife Karla and our multitude of pets (four dogs and a cat). By trade, I am a software developer, and I consult for the Allen, Williams and Hughes Company in and around Columbus, Ohio.
I primarily use Microsoft technologies for my day job, but I have broad exposure and interests in other platforms and technologies, specifically Linux and various other open source tools, like PHP and MySQL. As you may guess from this website, I also like and use Drupal quite a bit.
I graduated from DeVry Institute of Technology (now DeVry University) with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems. Since then, I have worked in IT consulting in a broad range of application development assignments, including client/server, web, and mobile device applications.
I attend church at Christian Assembly in Marysville, Ohio, where I maintain the website and participate in the music (singing and playing the bass guitar) occasionally.
My father, Samuel Miller, is a minister, and my mother, Connie Miller, teaches fourth grade for the Greeneview school system in Jamestown, Ohio. My only brother, Rich, lives in Dresden, Ohio, with his wife Rachel.
Hey guys, I wanted to throw some suggestions your way.
I would love to hear about things that the "larger" body of Christ is doing with technology to collaborate.
I love to see Christians innovate. Especially when it takes the message of the Christ's love and the Gospel to the world around them.
A few years ago, I coined the term "techumenical movement" (a play on ecumenical), to refer to the laying aside of some controversial debates with the goal of creating useful and beneficial technology tools for the body of Christ that are independent of doctrinal squabbles.
I would love to see you explore this idea in a future episode.
Here are some ideas I would like to see explored:
Keep up the great work!

First of all, I love the podcast. I'm a big Drupal fan/user myself, so it was great to discover this great resource. I actually found you through your post on the Churches group on the Drupal website.
Second, I *really* want to come to the Web 2.0 conference.
However, because life is full of choices, I must make the sad choice of (probably) not attending. (I won't know for a few days, but...)
There's a good reason, though. In fact, it's so good, that I couldn't wait to tell you about it. If you check out xag.org here...

...you'll understand why!
Please watch the videos for Faith, Hope, and Love Week going on in Indy that are included in that post, and also visit http://fhlinternational.org/ for more information.
It's great stuff, and I can't wait to check it out for myself!
Thanks and keep up the great work!
